B3 Tools and Programs (Mandatory) 

The B3 Benchmarking program was designed for state-funded building projects. These design standards will be:

• Required on both new and existing buildings.
  
  
• Regularly updated to help evaluate sustainability and development standards on all buildings.
  
  
• Mandatory use on state funded buildings and may be used on non-state-funded buildings.
